Magnesium Recycling

We offer extensive experience in the recycling of magnesium scrap metals.

On average, only around 50% of the magnesium metal ends up as a finished good during a die casting process; the remainder is generated as scrap or process loss, which is subsequently recovered by recyclers.

At Crown Metals CZ, we provide a comprehensive tolling service by purchasing this material and reprocessing it into high-quality alloy products tailored to our customers’ specifications, supporting a circular production model and a more sustainable supply chain.

Primary Alloy Production

CMCZ is able to recycle and produce magnesium alloy from scrap material, but also offers professional and experienced production of primary standard alloys and special alloys from pure magnesium.

With a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and reliable delivery, CMCZ is a trusted partner for customers who value performance and responsiveness in their sustainable supply chain.

Why Magnesium?

Magnesium is the lightest structural non-ferrous metal, with a density of only two-thirds that of aluminum.

Its unique combination of low weight, high strength and ductility makes it especially attractive to the automotive, aerospace, and electronic industries. Driven by growing demand, continuous advancements have been made to enhance its mechanical properties, further expanding its potential as a key material for lightweight and green engineering solutions.
